A collection of very personal songs recorded in East Lothian and East Nashville!
It feels like a good old fashioned rootsy band record. Pictures is a sibling to Into The Sea and Southern Wind (both produced by Neilson, and featuring Will on guitars), bringing to mind the spirit of some old Ronnie Lane albums.
Apart from Dean’s vocals and acoustic guitar, Will and Neilson play all the other instruments, with the exception of a small cameo appearance by Amy Geddes, who plays fiddle on one of the tracks.
